Tom Miller made all the trophies for his 1980 National Unicycle Meet, the first I ever attended. It actually balances on the pedestal. This was for first place in the "Trick Riding, Chain Drive" category. Uh oh, my backdrop is too small for this one and my "photo studio" is revealed!

The same statue-guy has been used on Japanese unicycling trophies for many years. The figure comes from an old photo of Jack Halpern. This was for the Guinness 100m race at Unicon III in 1987.

A trophy for 15th place? You betcha. My first artistic bicycling competition, 1982 in Weisbaden, Germany. 15th out of 17! In the WORLD, that is. This is only possible by limiting the # of competitors from the "good" countries. 17th place went to Peter Rosendahl.
